Chrome Hearts Eyewear Authentication: Photo Checklist
Published by CCChrome
Clear photographs help a reviewer understand an eyewear frame as a complete object. This checklist covers what to submit for an independent photo-based review of Chrome Hearts glasses or sunglasses. It does not authenticate a frame from one logo, code or inscription.
Start with the whole frame
Photograph the front straight-on, the frame from above, both sides with temples open, and the folded frame. Keep the complete frame in view before moving closer so detail images can be understood in context.
Photograph both temples
Include the inside and outside of each temple, with sharp views of every marking. Record model and size text exactly as it appears; indicate anything you cannot read. Hold the camera parallel to lettering and try additional angles in indirect light when glare hides it. Do not redraw or digitally reconstruct text.
Show hinges and hardware
Take close-ups of both hinges, the bridge, nose pads where present, temple tips and decorative parts. Photograph obstructed areas from another direction without dismantling the frame. A decorative detail must be interpreted alongside model and construction context, not as a universal pass/fail feature.
Explain repairs and replacement lenses
Tell the reviewer whether lenses were replaced, hinges repaired or decorative components changed. Include known purchase history and distinguish confirmed details from a seller's claims. These disclosures help separate later alterations from evidence of the original frame.
Keep accessories separate
Photograph the case, accessories and relevant paperwork separately. Remove home addresses, payment details and unrelated personal information. A case or receipt alone does not establish the authenticity of the frame shown alongside it.
Before uploading
- Full front, top, both sides and folded frame
- Inside and outside of both temples
- Readable model, size and other markings
- Both hinges, bridge, nose pads and tips where present
- Decorative hardware from useful angles
- Known repairs, replacement lenses and alterations
- Supporting documents with private information removed
Review each image at full size and retake blur or overexposure. Submit camera originals without filters or AI reconstruction. An authenticity review is not an optical safety examination, a prescription assessment or a lens-protection test.
